A large blown glass vase moulded in a wire cage with a distressed silver coloured finish. This vase looks great with dried flowers or as a candle holder for a tea light or a pillar candle, casting romantic shadows when lit in a darkened room. The finish is deliberately distressed to give a vintage shabby chic look which helps make the vase look so good as a candle holder. Although the vase will hold water, over time the distressed finish will continue to deteriorate if used for fresh flowers in water. This item is distressed glass. This means during the manufacturing process slight imperfections have been deliberately created. These give the item an older more ‘antique’ look than it would have if it had been made to be perfect. There may be parts of a design missing, slight bumps or other surface imperfections or irregularities in the glass. These are meant to give the careworn and well used look of a much older item to a recently manufactured product. This distressed finish is not to be regarded as a fault.
